I have a young player who I want to play at LB. He's over 6'0" tall; 20 INT; 20 CON; 3 and 1/2 star talent ... only issue is that his STR capped at 14. His speed has yet to cap -- so I don't know -- I guess we'll see what happens there.
My question is, even if his speed ends up capping at 18, 19 or 20, even -- does having such low STR make him worthless at the position? Another way of asking: With 14 STR, what would his speed need to cap at for you to consider playing him at LB?
Thanks!

I would move him to SF or WR, I like my LBs to be at least 16-17 st with that number or better for speed

If his speed gets to 19 or 20, I'd put him at SF. I wouldn't play him at MLB with 14 strength. If you don't want him at SF, then I'd consider him for CB or QB, but personally, I'd prefer a higher talent at QB and taller for future game engine consideration. With that said, my current QB is 3.5* talent and he's a rock star

Since this game is mostly about passing I'd say his strength is not that much of a concern. But strong TEs might muscle some passes down I suppose. I think that speed is all important for defenders and that DTs are a waste of space.
