Welcome to GI.

Not much has changed since 2009, so I'd say it's pretty close anyway. There and "Spilling the Beans" both have lots of good information for beginners.

First thing is to get a sponsor. At this point in the season, I'm thinking you're better off picking the one that gives you the most money each week vs. the one that pays more for wins. You need about 10 wins to equal it out and there aren't that many games left in the season. Someone else may have the numbers handy and might be able to give more accurate info there.
Use this extra money to build your stadium. Buy as many VIP seats as you can in a section that doesn't have seats yet (3 to choose from at the moment). As you get more money, continue building VIP seats until you get them all built, then build Exec seats until you get all of them built. Don't worry about buying players yet. If you really feel you need to get players, keep spending low and make sure their salary is low. Otherwise, you could go bankrupt early.
That's enough to take you through the first few months. Read the forums and you'll be able to pick up lots of info. Feel free to ask questions as well.

Good luck.

Thanks, well i took the sponsor that pays more for victorys jaja, well i did the math and if i win all my games it's more redituable, and in my league it's all bot but me and another team, so i took a chance.

As for players, shouldn't i buy some young guys to train them?

Until you can afford good coaches and facilities, your training won't amount to much. Many managers suggest that new teams sell their good (high talent) young players now to get a boost on building stadium etc. since it will likely be a couple of seasons before they can properly train these players. There are pros and cons to this, same as keeping the player(s). If you do decide to sell players, be sure to advertise in the ads section. Young high talent players usually sell for pretty good amounts, especially if they have high INT and/or CON. However, the market has been pretty weak lately, so it might be better to keep them for now.

While we're on the subject of training, don't be lured by the training intensity options. Keep it on average. The points you gain by going maximum intensity are not worth the cost in energy to accomplish it.

What the others said.

Get a sponsor from the economy section, and remember to renew match day sponsors after every game. That's a quick 100K into your account.

Use that to buy VIP boxes for your stadium, as many as you can afford, and these will begin to pay for themselves very quickly. Once you've done that work on executive boxes and then buy normal seats whenever you have a good amount of money handy (it's a bit odd building a small stadium for rich people only, but that's where the best income is).

Do not buy players, and train those that you do have in strength and speed at first. Try not to let the other skills such as vision or agility surpass 7, as this will result in large wage increases the following season (the four skills that do not affect salary are strength, speed, stamina and intelligence).

Promote a new youth player every Friday, and hope for guys with talent above 3.5*. These guys can get good positional ratings, which are the most important factor in their performance. Keep playing players in the same position to improve their positional rating and they will increase a small amount every match they play. It normally takes a player about two seasons to go from 1* to 5* in positional rating, so be prepared to take a few beatings until your team is used to playing in their best positions.

I tried to read the big guides and everything but they are boring and not getting to the point. Your post explained me exactly what to do, thanks. BTW someone should tell GI staffs that the sponser option is to small and I've got bored not once trying to fool around with thing in GI and I didn't even had sponser and luckily I saw a post in the rookie center that explain where it is.
