Do young players get extra weight as a result of getting older or is the nutrition centre the only way to beef them up?

Are there any sort of caps on weight?

weight is only changed using the nutrition centre.

BMI and caps are explained in the various threads with similar names.

I have seen small deviations (+/- 2kg) for some of my players even though they where not on fat camp.

players weight still go up and down even if they have no coaches notes about weight gain/loss. but something like 20% up, 20% down, 60% no change.

players with weight gain/loss, switch the 20% for the 60% or something similar.

another BMI thread to look at:-

I think all players weights fluctuate ever so slightly, though those that a prone to weight gains or losses obviously fluctuate alot more. Though not as much as maximum gain or loss that a nutrition centre can provide though.

All three player types have three potential outcomes each week when not in nutrition center.
Players w/ weight gain: no change, +1 pound, +2 pounds
Players w/ weight loss: no change, -1 pound, -2 pounds
Players w/ neither: -1 pound, no change, +1 pound

I can't find the percentage chance for each at the moment.

I believe Projectracing had the percentage chances correct if you look above

I never used to track weight at all, I find the whole BMI/Height/Weight thing to be stupid, and the Nutrition Centre to be even more stupid.

but since I purchased Pete's rather excellent GIMS a few months ago, I've noticed just how much a player's weight can actually fluctuate ...and if you do go down the "starve them/bloat them" route of the Nutrition Centre, over the course of time the weight gains/losses can be dramatic.

Although the GIMS has just served to reinforce how unrealistic, laughable and pointless the whole weight gain/weight loss scenario really is.
