Most of the advice here is pretty solid I think. Physicals are one of those things I really prioritise. Fitness coach and fitnss centre were the first things I ever bought other than stadium seats.

But really, it depends on your luck. Read the youth pulls or capping thread in general discussion to see my rants about the majority of 4.5-5* talents capping low enough to make you puke!

I have noticed that there are loads of players being sold at the transfer market with stats like:

Catching 12 Speed 10 Strenght 12
or Footwork 14 Speed 12 Strenght 8
Why do they have such low Strenght/Speed?

I always train Strenght/Speed until they are capped, then stamina to 10 and then I decide how to train the individual skills (blocking tackling catching etc.)

How do you train your players? do you start with physicals or with other skills?

there is no "right way" to train

It makes more sense to train non physicals if you donot have supporter account and 1 coach for each category.

there are a couple of other scenarios where it would make sense to train non-physicals

I, for one, would at times pick a player similar to what you have from the transfer market and well I donot think my team is doing too shabbily.

The only reasons to train physicals first are
1> wages(supporters and non-supporters both should train physicals in order to avoid having to pay more wages at the end of the season than they can afford)

2> basic football sense.- All said and done people like to see/ beleive that only the strong and quick can play football. And that translates to the game as well.

3>admins insisted physicals "are a part" of their current engine calculations.(key word being part of)

As far as I can remember, any other reason people come with is just horse manure or candy floss for their proposed trainin plan
