If you build the fitness center can you immediately do both upgrades to it or does each upgrade take 10 days also?

I was planning to save $440,000, get a 20 fitness coach and then spend the rest on the fitness center with both upgrades.

I've got no clue anyway - need to wait the 10 days either way. So then after the 10 days one can do both upgrades simultaneously it seems.
