Hi,

What skills are necessary for a Wide Receiver ?

I'm thinking Speed,Catching and Agility as Primary Skills ....with Strength as a Secondary Skill. Am I missing anything ?

Thanks.

Strenght as primary as well, train physicals first, they need to be 35+ combined (spd/str)..

Nope, no matter what.. Strenght is as/more valuable as spd on a WR on the current engine anyway, so if its anything like the old one, it will be pretty important again... But obviously we dont know about the new engine, so when people ask theyll get answers from the current engine, and for that reason its pointless to ask now if you dont expect to get an answer from what is currently "known"...

I train WR to speed (min 19 in most cases); strength (min 16), then the following. I like all my starters to have min 10 stamina. With that said, the following skills in order of importance for WR: Catching, agility, footwork, positioning and vision. Under the current game engine, all players use anywhere from 3-5 skills, not counting physicals. This is per the admins. For every position, I have assigned the 5 most important skills, listed them in order of importance and then I simply train them pretty much evenly across those skills. For some positions, I will focus more on the 3 most important skills until they get to a starting position number, then focus on the other 2.

My point was that 35 may no longer be the important number if BMI isn't included.

No, if BMI is not introduced the number would be higher for me on many positions..

Very nice, pretty much the same for me except I have swapped vision for carrying - have tried both though, and cant really tell if there is a difference... Honestly I think WR might be one of the 3-4 skill positions
