Just re-checking what is and isn't an "illegal formation".
As the rules state that you need a formation that "Has exactly 1 center and at least 2 players that are assigned a position of either guard or tackle" ..... I was wondering, do any of you guys often play with a 3 or 4 man O-Line formation ? or have you even tried it once ? if so, what was your opinion of the way your team performed ?
It's just something that I'm thinking about trying out of curiosity , probably in a Friendly or against a Bot .... but I'd like to hear if you think it would work, I'd especially like to hear if you've actually tried it or if it's your regular/preferred formation.

Yeah, just had a quick check ... Centre plus 2 Tackles. I wondered how much protection the QB gets, but he's got 3 FB's so that's where the protection comes from.

I'm not a big fan of that either, i would rather not use TEs!

So I dont care if you do it in the game, do whatever you think is most competitive, I just dont like that its an option and even when it is anyway, that you dont get punished hard (sacks) when you do it..

I fully agree with you, that really has nothing to do with real Football!
