Can someone explain to me an easy way to find a team that I could challenge for a friendly? The only way I know how to do this is to click on a team, and see if the 'challenge' button is available or not. That is a very tedious process.

Is there a way to search for teams who have a friendly available?

The only "easy" way is to check the Friendly Ads to see who is looking for a Friendly.
Apart from that you have to do some legwork to find a suitable opponent.
It's the same for everyone ...... there is no magic wand.

its not too difficult. i just look around in the competition tab under your home screen, then go to division III or IV. usually, by the end of the season the teams in first place have already built a ton of seats for the next division. I look for people with around 10000 seats and challenge 3 or 4 of them. in the next 3 days someone usually accepts.

I spent over two hours doing this exact thing yesterday. I did not find one team that did not already have a challenge.

Very frustrating to say the least.

Well, from experience I can tell you to best check for
friendlies on Monday, Tuesday or Wednsday!
The best time is on Monday, right after friendlies are finished.
Thursday is usually toooooooooo late.

Dont just look through the ads, place one, I have never experienced that not working...
