Could he be QB?

So i have a player that looks good to be QB. He is young and in my opinion my next best QB. I recon i play him QB in friendlies to raise his BPOS. He looks like the best future QB due to his high starting speed, agility, and stamina, his young age, his high intelligence, and his high consistency. Now am i looking at my players wrong or does he look like a good QB?

Arden Nowell, 17 years; 1 1/2 star for WR; 1/2 star for QB
4 star talent, 18 consistency

Positioning 4 Tackling 1 Punting 7
Vision 6 Blocking 6 Speed 12
Intelligence 17 Passing 2 Strength 7
Footwork 5 Catching 1 Agility 7
Carrying 6 Kicking 3 Stamina 5

now my question is, since i don't have the facilities necessary for fast training, could he be ready for quarter back in say, 2-3 years (meaning being 19 to 20 years old) or should i sell him to get the money for those facilities and wait for my next best potential QB?

my current QB is:

Boyce Armenta, 21 years; 2 star kicker; 1/2 star QB
2 1/2 star talent, 15 consistency

Positioning 3 Tackling 5 Punting 7
Vision 7 Blocking 1 Speed 12
Intelligence 17 Passing 7 Strength 15
Footwork 1 Catching 6 Agility 6
Carrying 6 Kicking 4 Stamina 2

He is my QB now because he is best suited for the spot at the moment. though, with his high starting skills that are suitable for many positions, i imagine that with his low talent, other players will outperform him soon. also he is older than my other potential QB. not old, but older, and once Arden Nowell gets to be 21 he will probably have better skills than Boyce Armenta does.

So basically, this is my second day playing, so i have no idea what im doing. but im trying to get my teams positions figured out. Am i thinking the correct way or am i missing something? is my current QB a good starting QB or would he be better elsewhere/easily replaced? Is my potential future QB really a wise choice for a future QB? would either of these players be better off sold? Thanks in advance.

he is a good prospect for where your team will be in 3 years.

play the 17 year old at qb in all games and use the other a DL and train his tackling up to 7 then his strength up

Good idea. would it be a smart to get his speed up as well for DE?

I would go for the Fitness-Levels first, after that for the tackling,
keeping in mind that the salary update is coming soon.

tackling to 7 wont do anything damaging to the wages and he might not even get to 6 by the end of the season.

getting those players that wont be on your team long up in main skills to 7 will help you early on concentrate on fitness fully when you have your next wave of players and the fitness centre and coaches to get them to their caps quickly then pick positions then, the 1st lot of players will be gone in 2-3 seasons time get them as good as you can for now it still wont affect wages much until a skill hits 9

That's a pretty good QB prospect you have there. Good size, intelligence and consistency ... if only his talent was a half-star higher -- in which case, you might have a future USA National Team QB.

Actually, though -- personally speaking -- I wouldn't consider a franchise QB with any less than 4.5 star talent. If your player has high caps, I would switch him to either SF, WR, TE or DL. But if he has low caps -- yeah, he would make a fine QB.

yeah, but this is a new franchise. so once i build a bigger collection of 4.5 star talents i will have a better choice. but at the moment, all of my 4.5 star talents are older than 25 or have low intelligence or consistency. so they have no chance anyway
