Hey, new to the game here. When checking post-match stats, there are columns next to each player labelled "start" and "end," each containing stars. What does the change in stars represent? Thanks.

In my opinion it represents that the player performance gets worse during the game, caused by stamina. I train those players stamina and if it is high enough, the end rating is the same as the start rating.

No not at all, doesnt seem to affect permanant bpos.

Case not closed for me !
I thought the same as TedX36 and trained my guys on stamina. And even payers with a stamina of 20 lose ratings during the game and finish the game with a rating 1 star under the starting rating...
How come ?!

It´s a well known bug. It hasn´t been fixed yet since it was first reported many seasons ago
