I was just wondering about this. How good does a player need to become to get in a good national team?
Would the following be about right?
5* BPOS
19-20 on important stats (ie catching for a Wide Receiver)
15-20 consistency
High intelligence (17-20) for Quarterbacks, Linebackers, and Safeties
Do the non-glamour positions such as linemen or special teams have their sights lower?

last time i ran it i managed it at 18+ main skill, slightly less secondaries, good fitness(not great) and 4.5BPOS generally

I would have presumed 19s or 20s in their most useful fitness trait.

I would guess that consistency is going to be a huge factor in putting a national team together, as are talent ratings against overall ratings. High stats will obviously be a good thing, but all around good builds are going to be the key.
You can always tell by a player's salary. If they're in the tens of thousands a week you have a good player.

not always as a lot of players train 1 skill which bloats the wages and a good player it doesn't make.
