I have played this game since july last year and you would think i would know the answer by now- in the drop down menu for training does it really matter if you choose offensive of defensive agility, i have a defensive coach at 20 and offensive at 1, the agility is for my RB but if i can avoid the offensive coach i would like too, thanks

The skill works the same regardless of which path you use to train it. It will just train faster if you use defensive coaches.

yes and no...

if you train defensive, a small part of your training points will go to blocking and tackling also.

if you train offensive, then a small part of your points will go to passing, catching, carrying, footwork also.

as an running back, i'd want some points going to carrying and footwork also. so training defensive wastes alot of points.

in the case of having a defensive coaches of 20 and a offensive coaches of 1. then using defensive agility is the best option.

but it sounds like it is time for you to get more offensive coaches. because you really need carrying and agility for you running back.

also quicker training then for your quarterback and receivers.

I think blocking is important for RB's so I'd still train Def AG but it's not a massive difference.

I'd agree with newton, I like blocking with my RB/FB too.

With this new engine, it may be needed, and I hope I'm not speculating on that
