Is there any reason I should pump my training intensity above average?

Should I leave my training on "all skills" or should I be focusing on the exact skill I want to level?

Do the players on my roster have to play to get training? I.e., if I have 3 CBs but only 2 play, will all 3 still get training? I'm unclear on this.

Keep training on average. Going higher doesn't help much but makes your energy go down a lot.

For players you plan to keep log term (3.5* or higher talent) focus train on speed or strength. For others, focus train on the primary skill for the position for now. You won't see big increases in skills until you get coaches and/or facilities, but just in case, don't train a non-fitness skill above the 7-10 range for now to keep wages down.

There are two types of training involved (skills and position). All players will train their skills on Friday morning whether they play in a game or not. Only players that play in a game will train in the position they play in. They will do this for each game they play in and only for one position at a time.

Hope this helps.

Perfect - thanks alot!

So basically train speed/strength to max because they help all players yet dont affect wage?

Does the size of the player (height/weight) really matter? In other words, if I have a 5'6", 150lb player but his best position is, say TE, will that affect his play at TE?

Are positional sides relevant? I.e., LT is typically the best pass blocker (blind side) and the RT the best run blocker, and thus, in my mind, a LT would need more speed in addition to blocking and a RT more strength. Or are they all treated equal?

This season the height and weight make no difference at all, however if the new engine is implemented at the end of the season, then you need to balance the players BMI to his position. A 135lb offensive lineman next season for example would be no good as his strength would only be approx 13 even if his stats say 20.
LT or RT is unknown in either this engine or the next. Logic would dictate that for a right handed QB your best pass blocking lineman would be the LT, but there are no handed players in GI. If you're setting your game plan to attack right, it makes sense to have your best players to the right side but I doubt it will make any difference in this game.

This makes sense. Is there a BMI for position reference?

Understood thanks.

So after reading and looking at my team, I've come to the conclusion that basically the point of the game seems to be to find 3.5* or greater players with 15+ intelligence/consistency and then you can essentially turn them into anything you want.

So, am I asking an annoying amount of questions yet?

Found my own answer (add for reference):

projectrracing wrote:

the game designers were creating a new game engine (dubbed V2) to improve the faults of the current game engine. this included BMI that game maximum values to strength/speed/agilty.

now the new engine has been scrapped, and a new 3rd version (dubbed V3) will be active by the end of the season. but no infirmation has come forth as to whether or not the same BMI effects will be in place.

BMI-Max Strength/Max Speed
20 13/20
21 13/20
22 13/20
23 14/20
24 14/20
25 14/20
26 15/20
27 15/20
28 15/20
29 16/19
30 16/19
31 16/19
32 17/18
33 17/18
34 17/18
35 18/17
36 18/17
37 18/17
38 19/16
39 19/16
40 19/16
41 20/15
42 20/15
43 20/15
44 20/14
45 20/14
46 20/14
47 20/14

BMI = 26-28 best strength at maximum speed
BMI = 32-34 speed balanced
BMI = 35-37 strength balanced
BMI = 41-43 best speed at maximum strength
