Odd thing is that 'talent' in the FAQ is rated from 1 to 10... meaning from 0.5 star to 5 star... bit confusing, if you ask me...
Why do you find it confusing?
Because BPOS is from 0.5 to 5.0 star. Not 1 to 10 as per the FAQ.
Would make more sense if the 1-10 was the sum of talent and BPOS... or maybe more confusing...
I don't care. Take the 1-10 in the FAQ and divide it by 2.
Question is... if you know you will be playing in the lower leagues some seasons and therefore will not train any skill to above 10-12 to avoid overspending on wages... does it matter that your team is full of less than 3,5 star players?
You can over time get the talent you want (either when you have the money or have had enough youth pulls) and still have a decent team....

Player performance is a combination of relevant skills AND BPOS which is effected by talent. Therefore always better to have higher talents if possible. Also BPOS doesn't effect wages. Its effectively an extra skill that every player needs.

Just about what every manager before you has done.
I still have 2 1.5 star talent players on my roster as starters after 5-6 seasons. They wont be starters next season, as better talent players have finally become trained to where I like them.

Thanks... Nice to know I am not the only one with 1½-3 star talent among my starters!
