for sure, you're right, just one small but .... you've not got a supporter account, right ? I didn't have one until about 2 weeks ago.
Supporters get a training report every friday morning, it tells you when a player has crossed a "point boundary" (.e.g he was Strength 14.76 , now he's strength 15.13).
The other week, I had a guy aged 33 and a guy aged 31. On the training report, it showed that one of these older guys had DECREASED his skill in something ! Aaaaarrrrgggggh - how bad is that !
It just brought it home to me how bad (long term) it is to have any guys 30 or over (skill decreases start at 31, I think).

I held off for a while, I used an Excel spreadsheet (still do), but it becomes a pain in the a*** to keep it up to date.
Personally, i think the supporter account is worth it for two reasons

(1) Training report - at a glance, tells you what's happened each week
(2) Speed/Strength Caps shown - no more wasted training cycles "guessing" if a player has capped or not.
