I see that the Transfer Player Search Tool only has an age up to 35. Do all players retire when or before they turn 36?
Do players age 1 year each season?
Have a 4.5 star 32 year old and trying to decide worth my time to train him or use his salary to pay a couple of 16 year-olds that still have numerous seasons left for training and for me to reap the benefit.
Thanks.

Yes, each player's age increases one year in the off-season. IMO, there are no 32 year old's on your team good enough to not fire. I most definitely recommend firing any players 30 years and up right off the bat.
You can find much younger, cheap replacements(below 8 main skill) players on the transfer market almost every day for less than 5k.
Also, you can't train players over age 30. All players, once they reach the age of 31, begin to decline each week in speed, strength and agility, in lieu of receiving training points. This decline in these areas increases each season they hang on to their glory years, so not point in contemplating "training" them
