i'm new here and i wondered, if the player comments from the coach team do have any effects, especially those ones: "If really needed, he can also step in as Defensive Lineman"
if i would use this player as DL, would there be any effects?

The majority of the coaches comments are left over from the early days when we were unable to see positional ratings for other positions besides the player's main position. A 3 star RB may "also be able to play DL" if he has 2.5 stars at DL, or something like that.
A player will play according to his position rating for the position he's at. This is also affected by other skills obviously, but I don't think there's any additional penalty for playing out of position other than the player using a lower position rating.
