Although his 4.5 Stars of Talent are awesome, for me at least, his consistency is too low to be a QB or RB. And with his Speed and Strength rather low, it'd be hard to assign him another position. I'd try for TE or OL if you can get his strength up to about 15, or I'd go for WR if he has higher speed. But whatever you do, you should work on those two stats(imho) to better decide where he fits in.

Thanks for your analysis. I was thinking of training him to be my punter because my current punter only has 1.5 stars talent. Maybe I'll train his Strength first and see where he goes from there. Thanks

Glad I could help. Unless he maxes out like right away at his fitness skills, you don't want to waste(again, just my opinion) 4.5 stars of talent on a punter.

He could be a combined kick/punter with consistency 20.
On the other hand his intelligence, speed, strength, vision make him appropriate for a TE as well. So I would rather train strength, stamina and then blocking, catching to make him a TE.

I have 2 players that I like. Both had good potential as DTs. Both were speed capped too early. So, my question. Do I keep one, keep both, or sell both?

Player #1:
18 Years Old
4 Star Talent
Positioning 4,31 Tackling 4,14 Punting 2,65
Vision 3,15 Blocking 2,07 Speed 10,01
Intelligence 11 Passing 4,55 Strength 16,24
Footwork 1,07 Catching 1,11 Agility 6,14
Carrying 2,52 Kicking 3,14 Stamina 6,14
Teamwork 6 Consistency 15

Player #2:
19 Years Old
2.5 Star Talent
Positioning 5,08 Tackling 5,15 Punting 2,66
Vision 3,10 Blocking 1,95 Speed 9,18
Intelligence 20 Passing 3,36 Strength 16,15
Footwork 4,40 Catching 2,00 Agility 5,36
Carrying 2,63 Kicking 4,42 Stamina 5,65
Teamwork 19 Consistency 11

I honestly would keep both. The first guy has good enough talent that he can get his other skills high enough to offset the lack of speed. The second guy has good intelligence, teammwork, and consistency with decent talent and should also turn out to be a decent player.

Just make sure to keep them away from the speed positions(WR, RB, CB, S, possibly LB). In fact, with the strength and the intelligence I'd say they should be put on either line or at QB.

I don't have any young player with talent lower than 2,5* in my team. Remember that talent 2* means maximum 3,5* BPOS and that's affect performance.
