my new youth player. Any ideas how to use him? Thought about using im as Runningback because of his agility and carrying.

Talent: 4

SKILLS
Positioning 5 Tackling 2 Punting 2
Vision 1 Blocking 2 Speed 8
Intelligence 9 Passing 3 Strength 12
Footwork 3 Catching 1 Agility 4
Carrying 5 Kicking 5 Stamina 2

Player's natural playing role is Kicker
He can also play adequately as Wide Receiver and Gunner
If really needed, he can also step in as Offensive Lineman, Quarterback and Defensive Lineman

I think it may be easier to make him a lineman. He already has decent footwork, strength. He is kinda slow for a running back (my opinion) and his vision would also need some work. But if you have good coaches and want to train him to be a running back, go for it!

Ive currently got this dude at MLB. What do yout think of that choice? I originally though QB but i have a QB i like there. Hes currently training all skills on fitness.

He's got a long way to go his this fitness skills to be a decent LB, IMHO. I think I'd move him to QB, good intelligence and passing, decent vision, high consistency and his lack of fitness skills wouldn't be a huge detriment.

cool cool.....i guess you can never have to many QBs....

another question....for what positions could Consistency be overlooked?
my thoughts were RB, KR and DL. I have a number of athletic (high speed and strength) with low consistency and theyre all on the DL at the moment.

Although his 4.5 Stars of Talent are awesome, for me at least, his consistency is too low to be a QB or RB. And with his Speed and Strength rather low, it'd be hard to assign him another position. I'd try for TE or OL if you can get his strength up to about 15, or I'd go for WR if he has higher speed. But whatever you do, you should work on those two stats(imho) to better decide where he fits in.

Last season, I cut all but four players who had less than 10 Consistency, and weren't on special teams. Three of the four I didn't cut have 4.5 Stars of Talent, and the other one was by far my best lineman.

In my opinion, consistency is less important for STCB, G, and KR.

Honestly, if it were me, if I didn't need him at QB, I wouldn't play him at QB..

Thanks for your analysis. I was thinking of training him to be my punter because my current punter only has 1.5 stars talent. Maybe I'll train his Strength first and see where he goes from there. Thanks
