Looks like it was worth playing most of my players out of position! For the most part anyways... My WR playing FB rushed for 343 yards (my RB playing HB only rushed for 53 yards on 12 attems (with a long rush of 43 yards )).

My Kicker playing QB sucked a** though, he didnt complete any of his 12 attempts ^^
Is there anything I can do to improve my passing game? Except training my new QB to pass better (he's at 7 for passing atm)?

Also: I went for a 4th down (and 14 to go ^^) late in the 1st quarter and cant figure out why I didnt punt. The score was 7-0 and my settings were "Go for it if 2 yards needed". Any ideas?

When you are inside your opponents 40 and out of the FG range you submitted, you automatically go for the run. Nothing you can do about that.

When your training your QB, don't forget about vision. Im in the same stage now with my QB. But once you train him up, and have someone who can catch the ball, you'll see improvements. I think the best my last QB averaged was about a 40-45% completion rate.

For QB's, make sure to look at passing, intelligence, and vision. Quite a few around have a rule of those 3 adding to at least 27 to make someone a QB, but that's not a hard rule. If you've got someone who's solid at all 3, then they should be solid at QB.

Other tips to improve your pass game are to make sure your O-line is strong and giving your QB time to pass, and to make sure you have strong WR's. Guys with high catching and speed are what I would recommend.

Hm... the guy I put at QB only has 2 in Vision (22 total).

I think the best I can do (all 3 combined) is 28 but only cause that guy has 20 Intelligence. And sadly only 3 in passing...

As long as his passing and intelligence are high, you can always train his vision. It's when you start to get low numbers in more than one that you should really worry.

Same with the other guy. Low passing can be trained if his intelligence and vision are at least pretty good.

Personally I'd train vision and put him at QB. The passing is too good to waste. I also think he'd be good at CB or S with his high tackling and good catching.

Or if you ever needed him to, he could quite a bit on the transfer market.

Well, I'm personally not sure what I'd train him in. In a couple of seasons if he has good fitness then yes, he could be pretty good on the transfer market, but that is a team full of people with 25% energy...
