Natural position: TE
Can play adequately as: QB

I think this guy is a real prospect, but I'm having problems deciding a position for him. I already have 2 very good WR's and the only way he could play is in a 3 WR formation which I haven't used or replacing injured WR's. They are 26 and 28 years old so this guy woudn't get to play in several years. I tried to keep him as a TE, but he lacks blocking skills which I've been trying to improve. Should I put him to play as a WR and keep him in the bench for some years or train him to became a TE.

What do you think

He's probably not someone who can step in and start right away anywhere, but he does look like he's a pretty good prospect for the future.

I'd say train up his blocking some and put him at TE, or train his tackling some and put him at LB. If one of your WR's get hurt then he can always fill in for them as well. Or, if you really need to, train his passing and put him at QB. He's got great intelligence and good vision, so in the future with some training he could good there.

I agree with Merc. He should be fine. Especially if it's a quick fix thing.

I just recruited a 16-year-old, so seeing as he is young enough to train really well (and he is decently talented), I was wondering where the best position would be to train him...here he is:

Rod Echevarria
16 years old Running Back
SKILLS
Positioning 1
Tackling 4
Punting 4
Vision 4
Blocking 2
Speed 13
Intelligence 10
Passing 2
Strength 7
Footwork 1
Catching 1
Agility 2
Carrying 3
Kicking 5
Stamina 5

OTHER
Teamwork 15 Consistency 12 Weeks at club 0

Player's natural playing role is Running Back
If really needed, he can also step in as Offensive Lineman, Wide Receiver, Quarterback and Defensive Lineman

Thanks!!

Vision 4
Blocking 5
Speed 15

wow, that's a long term project there my friend. I guess maybe kicker?
he could be trained to play LB possibly but you have to look at a core 3 stats and look at what your starters have at those three stats. If the potential is better to train the rookie you have up, then it is worth keeping him. if not, well sometimes it's best to have loved and lost.

I'd say RB would be best.

Hey ya'll, after thinking about this for ages, I think I'm gonna put this dude at QB. RB, OL, DL, and LB were my other thoughts. But since I don't have a long term solution at QB, I think he could be it. An invisible penny for your thoughts?
