I use the VIP rating for QB's
Vision
Intelligence
Passing

If the total is over 27 he's a QB

So, Merc, even though I've asked about him in another thread, I don't remember if you chimed in or not. I have a natural WR that has a 1-19-5 rating with a 20 teamwork rating and is a 4 star talent. Would you put him at QB or continue to look the transfer wire up and down for a better option. Oh yeah, he's 18.

well 25 is a good number... It's borderline. Me personally that's worse than my two people at that position, so no but 25 is pretty darn good.

Well you got me to looking and my QB had a vip of nine and a 17 year old DL had a VIP of 29. The only way to train him to be a QB is to start him right ? That will probably cost me league games though won't it ? Would he get the same training by starting him in friendlies ? Thanks. My starting QB is a turd. Here's this guys stats. Foot........3
Carry.......7
Pass.......6

Stam.......7.........Appreciate the help and advice. My starting QB had a VIP of 6 with a 1 in passing.

Cpony,

I am certainly no expert, but I can't imagine your QB is putting up very many completions at this point with that low of a VIP rating. I didn't have a number in mind like Merc, but those were the values I was looking at (in reverse order actually, so more emphasis on passing, then intelligence, then vision). My guy doesn't even have QB on his list, but he's doing as well as the "natural" QB in his first week with the squad. Granted, it's still nothing to write home about, but it's a start with all the performance penalties he's paying right now (team chem, out of position, and mostly road games right now). Just my thoughts, FWIW.

I have a guy with a VIP of 27 playing gunner if you want to maybe do a little swapping. He's a 16 year old three star.

to answer the previous question yes, the only way to convert a player's position is to play him at that position. also Auk, VIP isn't in order of prominence as far as to what is most important it just looks cooler than IPV Intelligence is the most important to me because you can't change it.
