How are flags collected? Just by playing and winning friendlies?

just by playing but flags are not of much use as far as the game is concerned

As a side note, you must play AT the stadium you want to receive the flag for. If you host them at your stadium, you will NOT receive a flag.

I played a friendly at another teams (and countrys stadium) and won it, but did not receive the flag. Is it given at the end of the season? or did i do something wrong?

Flags collected are shown only for managers with supporter account...
