If you had any increases in training they would be on your messages tab under team. It will take a while until you've developed the stadium and built the fitness centre, training hall and upgraded the coaching staff. The key to it is develop the stadium with VIP seats maxed first, then execs. After the fitness centre is built and upgraded, and the training hall and coaches, things happen fast.
