low talent players ??

I've got a few players with low talent - 0.5 and 1.5.
Is it worth trying anything with these players or should I just fire them immediately ??

I used to keep those players if they were not bad in the other attributes. They played till I got higher talented players ready.
Still have a 1 talent guy playing in my team.

last week I got a 2.5 talent 16-year old from the youth pull, so I was thinking that if I got more of the same (or similar) I could keep the higher talent and fire the low talent, especially if they're old.

Is 2.5 talent high in your opinion?

I say don't waste your time training youth pulls unless they've got 3.5+ talent. Don't buy anyone on the transfer market for less than 3.5 talent, if you have scouted them.

Now if they came on your team, then you can keep them until you find an adequate replacement, then you fire the players.

No, 2.5 talent isn't high, but ...... as I've got somebody with 0.5 talent , a few with 1.5 talent and a few with 2 talent, the kid with 2.5 talent seems worth training for now until I've got a bigger stadium and more money.
I'm not buying anyone (for now), I'm just concentrating on the financials i.e. making money ..... so that I can get loads of lovely VIP seats

I would do that. Those old guys won't get you anywhere, but your youth pull could at least develop into a solid player for a few seasons.
