How long are seasons on GI?

This season is a week longer due to the New Year break. Last year they skipped the financial update that week, I assume they will do so again

My opinion is that one season in GI is way too time-consuming. Would be great if teams would compete each others only one time/ per season + there would be rivalry games 3-4 chosen randomly before season.

Thoughts? Would it be great?

I dont think there would be enough time to train plays before they got too old.

I like the long seasons. It makes it so much more to be able to win your division -- accomplishment is sky high.

I had an account two years ago which I promoted to Division 2, but then went bot. Argh.

But now here I am, shooting for TD!

Well my older team was taken over, but i was III.32 and that was good. But due inactivity it got bot. But now i just seem to be flat down again, and can't wait to get forward. So somehow i see the point.
In my case it's annoying to wait so long before any progress really happens, but somehow it's alright.
