Yep, the FAQ will tell you what the energy and training bonuses/costs are per training style. If you really, really want to get energy up quickly, you can always set your 'rest' setting to players below a certain energy point. To be honest though, this isn't that efficient training wise, and it's much better to train on a more relaxed mode as an entire team. If they rest, that's a whole week of training not done at all!
Use the rest function if it's only a few players low on energy (to prevent lowering the training of everyone else). If the majority of your players need more energy, use a relaxed training setting instead to recoup that energy as a group.

Just train normally, your Kickers energy will come up 1-2 each week.
OR rest him for 1 week, and it'll come up 8-12. Then normally. He'll be almost back to normal by next season's start.
