Okay, here are two newbie questions I could not find answers to:

1) What happens to your team if it is relegated from a region's lowest division (ex: North America V)? Does the team get eliminated from the game even though it is under human control, thereby forcing you to start from scratch? Or is elimination from the game a fate reserved only for bot teams?

2) What happens when one of your players retires? Do you get compensation or a replacement, or is it the same effect as the player being fired?

One thing to note about players who announce they are retiring, is that you can not put them up for sale after that. Unlikely people would want to buy those players in the first place, but just in case you were thinking of doing that...

I'm assuming you can still fire them though, but I can't actually remember (I only ever had retiring players during my first stint at this game many seasons ago). Otherwise, Maylie has covered pretty much everything.
