All players grow their BPOS rating (their best position rating) by playing games in that position. This rating is one of the few mystery factors that go towards the calculation of your player's game day performance. Essentially, the more they play the more BPOS stars they get - up until the limit permitted by their talent.

Skills are trained by you. Each non-physical skill has a cap depending on a player's talent. Each physical skill has a hidden mystery cap.

I'd read this thread:
http://www.grid-iron.org/index.php?page=community&subpage=viewt&t=4096

The first post includes lots of information, but more importantly what the BPOS limits each talent level gives. The second post has a description on all the positions including the QB, what to look for in them, and what to train.

And my final piece of advice is, sell or fire those high salary guys on your team. Unless you have stadium under construction currently, your stadium needs to be built out. It's not at the point where you can successfully support those kinds of salaries yet. It's one thing having a few base players for your team, but if you want to go down that road try and develop young, talented guys and aim for physical skills when training. Good luck!

Daudy is right! Read the threads for more insight.

Stadium first and lot of patience!

You cant run a team without a decent stadium - you need at least 2 seasons before you can start "dreaming" of championships.

Another point of info that most people forget is , make sure you win games! If you lose match attendence then its hard to gain attendance throughout the season and walla! your stadium is farking useless.
Just set your guys so they win matches, whether this means spending a little extra on a player like QB, MLB or SF and CB's. You dont need more players than are on the feild. Select one guy who can play other back up roles if one player gets injurred.
Making a decent stadium takes a few seasons and you need $$ to build something decent. You need to win every match to make good money...therefore winning is everything!
AND the more time you can spend on finding bigger stadiums around 17K for extra friendly cash is your best bet to building stadiums quicker and paying...

The first sesasons he doesn't have to care about winning!
untill about 30K stadium seats will be filled, even with 0 wins and 16 losses.
So like the above guys said.

Stadium is everything the first seasons.

Agreed.
1. Sell/fire any players with wages above $4K per week.
2. Put training on normal.
3. Build as many VIP seats that you balance will allow you to. Maybe leave $50K spare.
Only do it the this order.

Well, i won two divisions and made TD before i had 30k seats...And you do get more money by winning games...I do respect your advice though and maybe technically your right...However, once you have your stadium do you suddenly start to win..mmmmm..But then again im in a league with fewer competitors....Just win games and tell me im wrong! Dont have to over train and dont have to spend more than 4k per week on players. Just set your guys up correctly. SO now we move on to the citical part , which is player selection...Sorry guys but opionions are just another mans way of saying

You were asking for help recently as you were nearly bankrupt when you only had 13,500 seats. Hardly a good agruement for your case.

What is the difference between now and then? 20,000 seats more???

I also dissagree with winning is important for making money in lower divisions.

A win in a level 3 divsion gets you say $15,000 from your sponsor. You get that also from 750 regular seats. But you attendence isn't regulated in level 3 until the 42,000 seating number.

So you can loose all you want, but the extra 750 seats will net you the $15,000 each game, whether you win or lose.

i am just posting my opinion i guess. i did build my stadium as a good manager would but i also made sure i was going to win games(more importantly IMO). this game is not a stadium build game but a game where you want and have to win grid iron matches..i remember losing and it sucked ass as well as losing attendances..sorry, but i still think winning is EVERYTHING!
