Is Press Releases only for Supporter accounts?

I'm still on my three day trial, so I don't know whether it is available after this.

Personally, although no one reads my press releases, I love them. It makes the game have a sense of realism.

And on another note, is there an app for mac that would help me with Grid-iron? Or a spreadsheet? I've heard rumors of one.

I used the press releases for the 1st few weeks of having it. But it lost its flavour quickly after 3-4 weeks.
