In priciple, it is possible to train every player to a special position. As WR and CB both need high speed and less strength, it is up to age and talent, if your player will become a decent WR. If your chosen players is already at max BPOS for a special position, it just takes additional time for 're-educate' him for another position.

Personally, I re-educated two of my Corners to WR and now my backup QB to KR in order to not wasting money on 'Standby-Players'.

Well, if he has the max. BPOS on CB, I would consider to rebuild him as WR. But this depends on the players you have until now and your future plannings. If he has a high consistency and still BPOS to reach i would consider him as cornerback for the next time. If you have some future corners to build up, you might consider him as WR.

More important is the question: How much talent and consistency has Swain? Do you have players that you're planning to be Corners the next time?

BTw a Cb will not get Wr Bpos points(train as a WR) unless you donot play him on the defence/ST in the games where he is a WR
