i have a kicker in my special teams who im going to play as a LB how do i move him from special teams to defense or do i have to wait till that becomes his natural pos and he moves automatically?

Play him at LB and wait until he changes positions. Nothing else you can do.

Just because he is called a kicker doesn't mean he can't be a good linebacker. I have multiple players that have maxed out their BPOS at more than one position: LB/DL, LB/TE, CB/SF, RB/K, etc.
