Do MLBs ever cover on pass plays or do they just get the 2nd tackle attempt?

if they intercept would it not be a possibility that the do assist in coverage on pass plays.

I play with one MLB only and he managed interceptions on balls targeted to WR and TE - so yes, MLB for sure covers on passing plays.
