I know the difference in real football, but how does it look like in G.I.? Who is responsible for pass protection and for run protection? Which one do you prefer?

Since the running game is completely useless above division V level, most people would focus on the Free Safety for pass protection (though you could argue that it doesn't really matter because the match engine just goes for Offensive shoot-outs irrespective of a team's D)

Free Safety - Pass protection.
Strong Saftey - Run protection.

I prefer to use 2 Free Safeties as I'm in a pass dominated division.

best players on the pitch, formation means absolutely nothing!!!! if the GE decides the other team will score when passing to his 1 dimensional receiver setup then nothing u put infront will change that.
