Is the going rate for a 4.5* player (Non-QB) with below average attributes just less than a million???

I have learned less is more in the t/m but some of the prices that go around are just ridiculous!

It's very hit and miss. I've picked up one 5* player for 5000, one for 15000, and a 4.5* for 14000, all uncapped. They will take time to develop but don't look much different than some who sell for 500000 or more.

Noone gets mugged, its your own choice to click the 1 mill+ bid button

That said, lion is right.. My young 5* talent/BPOS QB was bought for 4k as a 16 yo.. 18 int, 13 cons but still a good price I think

In addition it is how specific your requirements are and how much time you want to spend panning for gold in the river of crud that is the transfer market. I've bought a couple of 5* players for peanuts but I've bought a lot of rubbish too.

Getting someone close to developed in BPOS is also a huge bonus. I'll pay substantially more for a player who has a level that means I can play him quickly. It's not a huge help getting a top talent If his bpos on the position you want to play him is only 0.5. It will take approx 90 games for him to reach full bpos. If you are in a competitive league that is going to take years!
