QB i know what he do on the field so he should weight around 170-220
OL i know what he do on the field so he should weight around 300-380
RB i know what he do on the field so he should weight around 160-200
WR i know what he do on the field so he should weight around 160-200
TE i know what he do on the field so he should weight around 160-200
DL i know what he do on the field so he should weight around 300-380
LB i am not 100% sure what he is so post to do maybe stop RB, TE & WR so he need to run and stop runners so he can´t be a lot heavy and not to much diet so he should weight around 220-300
SF i do not know what he do maybe stop player so go past LB so he should weight around 200-280
G i do not know what he do that´s why i have no idea what he should weight
CB i do not know what he do that´s why i have no idea what he should weight
KR he run back whit the ball so he need to be fast 160-200
K he only kick the ball so his weight should not matter, i have not see fat player kick the ball in real live so he should weight around 160-250
this is what i thing player should weight around
but what is your opinion or advice

I recommend looking through forums and FAQ before posting...

Have a look at Building BMI in the general forum, when you are done reading it, post in this thread again if you still have questions

From the thread:

BMI = 28 to get best strength at maximum speed
BMI = 33 most balanced
BMI = 41 to get best speed at maximum strength

So basically you take all positions and decide what physicals you think are important and then you decide their BMI based on that..

So your DL and OL would need 41+ (45 I'd say, since the admins mentioned force calculations) in order to use 20 str..

An example of a balanced player could be LB or SF where you need both strenght and speed, and therefor a balanced build

CB would be an example of a quick position that would need 28 or less BMI

I believe he does

The BMI-chart is the more important in deciding the right weight of a player based on his position.

Nevertheless it still is a question what effect the hard caps will have in the new engine. Admins have stated that they will stay...until they might decide otherwise

So, respecting the current hard caps and the upcoming influence of BMI on speed, agility and strength, target the BMIs (28, 33, 47) but with respect to evry players current hard caps! (makes no sense to target a BMI of 28 for a CB when he caps at 17 speed, i think)

@ kong_kaj i read the forum & FAQ and a lot better then that i read the rule TO all in rule number 8 it say
8. YOUR ACTIONS - YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
All actions undertaken by you or by your club are your (the managers) responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, player transfers, safekeeping of your password (NOTE: We do not advise you to access Grid-Iron from a public computer, but if you do so, the least you can do is not store your password on it and log out of the game after you are done), any construction work (facilities, facility upgrades, stadium upgrades and parking spaces)... All such actions are final and cannot be reversed, canceled or refunded.
so my question is where can i build parking spaces?

Well. No parking spaces can be build anywhere. Sorry.

And regarding the weight:
NOBODY knows the best ranges for the positions, because the new engine wasn't tested yet.

NOBODY knows eventual benefits or suffering from too much weight or height at a specific position.

We only know the BMI-chart.

I for myself have trained and feasted my players to a BMI so that they have the least decrease in strength and speed and have the highest value for one of the two values which is needed most for the position.

You're explaining it like we know absolutely nothing, which is not true..

Would that not make it important for every position? Throwing the ball takes a force, breaking tackles, tackling, blocking, kicking, etc. So we want our players to be as heavy as possible without being too heavy for their positions?

In certain areas (kicking & throwing comes to mind) high strength can (will) be a hinderance. Imagine a really "muscled" player throwing the ball then imagine a strong (like a truck) fellow throwing the same ball. The bulk of the muscles will hinder the fluent motion required to effectively throw the ball while the streemlined contoures of the second guy will allow him to throw the ball much further. Breaking tackles and holding on to the ball will also have lower "strength limit" so to speak. This will simulate the human bodies ability to brace itself in a very efficient way.

Tackling/blocking - more strength the better

The first half is about QB and K not needing to much str (13 has later been confirmed as the optimal lvl for them), not all that relevant

"Breaking tackles and holding on to the ball will also have lower "strength limit" so to speak." Indirectly admitting that str on WR has been too important, and will be lowered - indicating that one should go for 20 speed on them (cant imagine a WR needing more than 15 str if the bar is lowered too)

Last sentence is pretty obvious, max str, max weight if your only task is to block/tackle...

My point is there is lots of stuff out there said about this subject, when you say that nobody knows, all it means is that somebody doesnt know

Sorry, but end of the story is:

Nobody knows what kind off effect it will have if a qb has 20 strength or 10 strength.

Nobody knows what kind of effect it will have if a liner has 16 strength or 20 strength.

There will be formulars which will calculate some results based on skill values. Extreme input sometimes results in extreme output.

Nobody knows if the malus you get for a bigger qb is totally worth it, because he hits the receiver with lightning speed and no cb can interfere. Nobody knows. Or maybe he can't even throw at all anymore, even he has 20 passing. Nobody knows.

Admins stated some stuff, but they also stated some stuff about the old engine and what does the majority do? They play according the results some testers have found out in hard work, not according the stuff the admins said.

We will have to test the engine, everything else is just guessing and not worth to discuss.
