I would say it's the perfect addition for supporters.
It doesn't give them any advantage in cash/skills/playing and doesn't make non-supporters teams worse off, but does save them time. It does no more than you can do if you paste those details into excel, it just means those who support the game are saved the effort.

Too many games give such an advantage to those who pay that it makes it almost worthless to play for free. Fair play to GI for not falling into that trap. And I say that as a supporter

I wasn't complaining, just thought it was kind of strange. I don't really mind, as I already have an idea of where everybody on my team should go and it seems to work... Yeah, it's not a direct in game advantage so it's fine.
