I was wondering if it's generally easier to pass or run in this game?

In general, passing will give you better results. I think it requires some minimum level of competence from your QB and at least one WR/TE, but you can build that pretty quickly. The reason is that a RB has to break three tackles to score, but a WR/TE only has to break two. Thus, you'll get more big plays out of the passing game than the running game.

Run vs bots.
Pass vs humans.

Actually, you can run pretty good against any newbie team. But as soon as they start getting some tackling, I think you're better off passing.

Is that really true? Once you get to a certain level for your QB, isn't it better to simply pass vs everyone?

No. Your limiting factor against a bot when passing will be completion percentage. You can only score where you complete a pass. Every run, however, has a chance to score.

nevermind.
Actually you can run the ball against most new teams as long as their Defensive linemen/Linbacker bpos is not comparable to your Rb/OL Bpos.

But its safer to pass against humans that have been around for about a season

So, one way to look at it is that the pass attempt is the "third tackle" that would make a pass into a run. So, if your odds of an incomplete pass are greater than the odds of a HB getting tackled, you should run. Otherwise, you should pass.

I think I might finally be starting to understand at least a couple of the reasons why GI works the way it does.

Yeah...it was fun while I was figuring it out. Now it's just frustrating.
