How (strong) does a QB affect the running game (RB runs!)?

How long is a ball of string?

No one really knows. QB doesn't influence running game. Match tactics do.

you need excellent ol , lead blockers to have a good running game....but then again excellence is relative

i think he's talking about the QB runing the ball on his own. like how important is it that the QB scrambles in this game.
The answer to that would be: not at all. it's not important whatsoever.
The QB's sometimes rush the ball, but noone really knows why. maybe it's because they see that nobody's opne, mybe it's because they see a good running lane? no idea.
i always had the QB i have now, and he often ran in the lower divisions, and hardly ever does so now. that's my experiance.
it's not really a factor though.

no, i meant the RB running, the QB just handing over to the RB, indeed.

thing is, e.g. a match against bot, would there be any significant difference on the scoreboard, if i play either my starting-qb or my backup?
(starter has ~7 vision, backup just 1)?

Your passing would suffer, but your running game wouldnt be affected at all

in this case.. the only thing that affects how often you run the ball is your match settings. QB doesn't decide that
whether or not he will be successful... that depends on his OL
