Indeed, but more members = less bot teams

So is it a lottery as to where you end up and how long it could take you to reach the top? Could a new player land a slot higher up the pecking order than the next guy?

Lower divisions are filled up first.

Whether you get a team that is going to be promoted, relegated or in the middle of the pack, is a matter of lottery, yes.

Season 2 will now be with 7/10 teams as bot teams. I still tend to agree with others that you are best placing bots to gether and filling those, top down, as and when the number of players expands. When a player drops out higher up the league pecking order, the bot team should stay there until the end of the season, when they are automatically replaced by human teams from below.

Well, i just got a 4-2 in V.16 and i'm not that pissed, if this is going to be a really good AF Sim, then the real players will be able to take their teams to the top in a couple seasons.

Just think of it like you're starting a new program and you will build it into an AA Team.

Stuff like that takes time, and knowledge.

I Bet you that when a user gets a 6-0 Team, and goes into a "player only" division, he will be booted out pretty quick!

This game seems fun, let's see how it works for me!

I took over a team, and after working out the basics have gone on to win 3 on the trot in my division, all against other player teams. OK you may not go into the very top straight away, but considering it takes matches to gain experience, time to save money, time to construct your facilities, then I have no prob being in lower leagues and having time to work on my tactics, training and making my team as good as it can be.

My 2nd match after taking over was a cup match against a player team from the level above. They destroyed me 41-14. based on this I would rather be where I am just now than be facing scores like that every week.

Considering how bad Bot teams normally are, there is very little chance you will get relegated from a majority Bot division, but if you play player teams which are looked after and you don't take the time to build your team then you'll just be up one season, down the next, up the next, down the next, with little consistency to your play.

IMO for the time this has been running, a great job is being done and it costs players nothing. I have a supporter account, and look forward to seeing how quickly this develops once more and more people get to know about it.

Certainly makes a change from Madden or Fantasy.

Anyone wanting to use my players as tackling dummies then throw down the challenge, or shout me if ya just wanna chat.

I joined at the start of last season, ended up in division 3.5 and brought my team to 18-0 in a league that had 6 human and 4 bot players if i remember correctly. Now i am in Division 2.2 and it looked to be competitive but my main rival if you will Erin Eagles went bot the other day, leaving it down to me and two other humans, I see this as a good thing, I can now relax and try out different types of formations during league games as well as friendlies and prepare for next season.

I love this game =)

I've not played my first game yet, but personally I do not like the idea have having to start so low down when there are so many bots around in the higher leagues.

I've started in the relegation zone of V.75, so if I can avoid relegation I'll have just 111 leagues to climb to get to the top. Think that will just take me 39 years if I were to get promotion each year.

think your looking at the leagues the wrong way dapp.
u dont got from V75 to V74. you would jump to IV league as far as im aware no idea where in that section though.

i do think the developers are missing the point of the game being online though. most leagues have between 2-4 human players while the rest are bots, i understand the top divs holding bots, but not so sure about lower leagues, at least the V leagues. this will drive people away more than entice them in. i like the game and think it has a lot of potential for future dev but whole seasons waiting for bots to go!!
