Hi all

traditional start of season transfer warning for the new folk and the vets who should know better.

always make sure you look at the wage cost when bidding on a player. make sure you can afford this first before even looking at how much the player will cost to buy.

it's the wages that'll make you go bankrupt

enjoy

I saw a very tempting LB for sale yesterday but began to wonder how much his wages were set to rise. Are there guidelines as to the maximum leap in wages at season end?

this is the rough wage curve;
Skill / Wage

1 500
2 800
3 900
4 1300
5 2400
6 2700
7 3200
8 4800
9 6600
10 9000
11 13000
12 17100
13 22300
14 28900
15 37300
16 46800
17 57800
18 70600
19 85400
20 102200

from this you should be able to see a good indicator of what his wage would be (though you should see it now anyways we've gone to new season)

I'm sorry for some of my starters. Some had a salary cut although being the spine of my team

I'm wondering that some managers buy good players despite several warnings, that they cannot afford these players after season ending.
