I was hoping there would be another season of the 1st engine.

IMO what would be nice is being able to play your team in the old engine and in the new one. That way those who were building for the future in the old engine can still see the fruits of their labor; while those waiting for a 2nd engine get what they want too.

Well, thanks for the info.

I'll stick around a little bit longer, but if for season 9 nothing happens ... well we will see.

I'll take another shot at the AFLC next season. If there's no new game engine after that, I'll have a hard time willing myself to play this one.

i d take the new engine over the ol one at the start of season 8 even if its just as buggy ....At least it d b a welcome relief from the stagnancy
