You will be in the Division 5 another season, you will have a Div 4 team demote to your division.

As dull as playing bots can be, it gives you a chance to build your players, the experience, the Team Chemistry, so that when you win the division you get to play more human.

Patience is rewarded, so if you can stick it out a little while longer, your team will grow

Thanks for the info.

Thought so, and I know I can not compete in a higher league right now.

Next season, I will just have to outperform the better teams in my league to get promoted.

I'm going to finish 2nd in my league in Division V. The team who are being promoted are unbeaten, having battered the Bots by more points than me and beat me in a dour encounter.

What's frustrating is that they look as though they'll struggle in Division IV. Their ground capacity is only 1300 so presumably they're living close to the edge.

So I'm a tiny bit jealous because I've tried to do things right. I've been very restrained in the transfer Market and am aiming for a 14000 stadium by the start of Season 8. I'll keep an eye on my Spanish nemesis as he begins his campaign in the higher league. I hope he establishes himself. Though I can well imagine he may struggle economically and we'll end up with one more Bot. And that'd be a shame for all concerned.

Don't be jealous, since you will catch up and overtake him soon enough. I speak from experience.

When I started this game I began with tough competitors, which meant I spend quite a bit of time developing my team and finding young players to fit the different roles on my team. It took me 3 tries to earn my promotion out of Division V, 2 tries to get out of Division IV and finally 1 try to get out of Division III.

Season 7 have been a great success for me. Straight away promoting to Division II in my first season in Division III with tough opponents! And I have managed to make my way to the Cup final.

So all the hard work and losses I had to endure in the beginning of the game is finally paying off. It is time to reap!

Season 3 i was early out of contention in Div 4 - the team promoted today still plays in Div 3 at a low level and will have a hard time next season

Season 4 i got to play the top contender right at first game day - and lost... so i knew that i need to win the rematch - but i lost again - just 2 losses - "he" is still playing in Div 3 and seems to lost interest, he is nearly bot

Season 5 finally i made it - i promoted to Div 3, beat both of them and today im knocking on TDs door.

Who knows, maybe its too early for you to promote?!?

Look at your team, make a plan and stick with it! And most important: dont look how others "progress" - have your team in focus! Good luck!

Have to agree...

I started out in Div V with Godter Football Institution, they promoted ahead of me twice, this season i look to have my revenge, has been great fun fighting it out through the seasons... sometimes not promoting helps you in th long term... plan out what you need, and focus on the long term...
