I read somewhere that it makes sense to get players training points close to 100 by the end of the season so next year's salary will be based on their current skills but in the new season they can quickly go up a skill level. Is that certain? Or are training points randomly generated in the close season?

You get training points every Friday, but as you write it is a good idea to time the training, so that you can get a skill up just after the salary update that happens in the offseason.

Would the salary-update be on 9.3. or 16.3.? Because it is important to know if you have 1 or 2 trainings between the update and the first league game (19.3.).

One other thing I would recommend, is that when you train, don't do it on High/Very High, it will sap the players energy. When it gets under 90% it will start to hinder the player performance

On the 9th you find out what the salaries will be

On the 16th the wage increase kicks in
