there are slight penalties for playing a player out of his "natural position" however it is part of the game engine that as you continue to play a player at that position, it will slowly become their natural position. Hope that helps!

If I understand you rightly, you are asking what will happen if you play a Running Back at kicker?

I believe, if you are playing the Running Back at Running back, but also playing him at Kicker, the Engine randomly generates which Position he gains a rating in. However, if you play him at only one position, he will gain a rating in that position. So if you were to play your Running Back at Kicker only, he will eventually become a Kicker.

Kicker doesn't really have that big of an impact on the game currently. Just use any spare player that you do not use or do not want to use in the future. But, if you have any players with good Kicking/Punting skills, I would recommend training them in that position for the upcoming season.
