I recently got a new youth player with good speed and catching i think i can work with some trainning here are his stats let me know if you think this is a good idea or if i should put him else where.

Positioning 1 Tackling 6 Punting 2
Vision 4 Blocking 5 Speed 15
Intelligence 4 Passing 1 Strength 9
Footwork 6 Catching 4 Agility 2
Carrying 6 Kicking 2 Stamina 5
with a talent of 2,5. 5'10" tall and consistency of 10

I htought he could be a decent 4th slot reciever for me until i find one better but if you think he would be better elsewhere please let me know.

He's a little short.

And his talents pretty low, probably want to find someone a little taller and with higher talent

agreed. if i had a youth pull like that. i would have fired him straight away.

unless you are a new team and looking to replace the random rubbish you receive at team start up.

Anyone you're planning on keeping long term, should probably have at least 3 1/2-stars of talent. You can purchase guys for peanuts with talent level...so why train up a low talent player.

Also, with most new players, you have to see where there fitness caps are before you can really decide on a position, IMHO.
