Can you cancel a bid on a player and if so how?

No it isn't possible. All you can hope for is that another player bids.

If it is the salary of one of the players you are bidding on, then if the price of the player is low, I would just fire him afterwards. Not a massive mistake. Noticed one of the players are 68k in salary but you are only bidding 4k, so not a massive loss to hire and fire
