Scouting own players?

When you scout transfer listed players you get to see all their stars for playing positions. You cant see that for your own players, but is it possible to make your own player transfer listed and then scout him yourself so you can see those stats? It would cost you some money for selling provision&scouting and you'd have to put some unrealistic price on him so you wouldn't lose him, but I'd be willing to pay that to see position stats of some of my players.

The Coaches Comments should give you enough information

Meh thats for supporters. I'm cheap, I'll just go and bribe someone to look it for me via scounting thingy. That should work.

coaches comments are free. i.e.:

COMMENTS FROM THE COACH TEAM
Player's natural playing role is Quarterback
He can also play adequately as Offensive Lineman, Tight End, Defensive Lineman and Linebacker
If really needed, he can also step in as Cornerback

Then should give you some sort of comparable positional rating.

Guru.

EDIT: I will be away this weekend, as I am going to London. I trust Merc to steady the ship

No coach comments are not what I'm looking for. In those you only see that player's natural roling play is, lest say, QB. You don't see how many stars he has playing on that position. Now with inexperienced players thats almost always one and a half stars, but for experenced players that can be star and a half or even five stars and all coach comments would say is that his natural playing position is QB.

See the difference? Also I suspect player with lots of stars in his natural position is harder to retrain to another.

Yeah, I asked a similar question awhile ago. The admins are especially active in ignoring my questions though. It makes no sense that we should even have to consider doing a scouting report on our own players. Doesn't that kind of take away from the whole "owning" idea?

I still hold that we should get the scouting data for free for any player we own. That's just me though. I think an owner should have MORE access to a players stats etc. than a would be buyer. It appears to be another reverse reality though. I'm not on the same logic level as the creator's though. I'm sure they eventually plan to make such info available to supporters. As for the rest of us... oh well.
