I have a 16 yr old kid with 4 star talent.
I just need some advice on where to put this guy inittially however i think he could be trained as a QB.

Also, does 'comments from the coach team' change as they play a different position or is it detremental to play them at where they are suggesting??
Any suggestions.

Positioning 5 Tackling 2 Punting 5
Vision 2 Blocking 3 Speed 8
Intelligence 6 Passing 1 Strength 7
Footwork 5 Catching 5 Agility 5
Carrying 3 Kicking 4 Stamina 5

WEIGHT & HEIGHT
Weight (kg) 99 Height (cm) 203 BMI 24.0

OTHER
Teamwork 15 Consistency 20
Thanks. BFS.

My minimum requirements for a QB is the following:

Talent 3.5+
Intelligence 16+
Consistency 16+
Height 6'2"+

(Intelligence and Consistency should add up to 36+).

I would prefer:

Talent 4.5+
Intelligence 18+
Consistency 18+
Height 6'4"+

No it doesn't matter at all. It just shows what they are currently best at based on the individual position's BPOS (you can see the different BPOS ratings by hovering over the question mark next to his current rating).

I'm guessing you just got him today from the weekly youth pull, so on that guess I will give the same answer I always give. Train his physicals first to find out where he fits the best.

Lol.. yeah , i knew you'd say that. But i do like playing them in friendlies. However, due to the new engine with the weight and height thing, are the physicals so relevent. For example, if my player is really heavy , like, 140kg's, wouldnt he have more strength then his low strength skill level of about 10 is irelevent. True?

Admin statement:

"BMI itself doesn't give you strength - a player needs to train in order to gain that muscle mass and consequently strength. That's why BMI doesn't do anything in the new engine, it just limits the maximum skills a player can have."

I remember something about weight helping out in "force calculations" (tackles etc. I figure), but never will it replace strenght, and therefore it still needs to be trained..

Your guys has horrible physicals and should not be played right now since you have absolutely no clue if he will cap the very next level.. If you HAVE to, you have yourself a fine kicker (high cons, good talent)

No we cant.

The higher weight the guy is the more he can be trained in strength.

But he still may cap out (not be able to train anymore) before he gets to his mazimum strength. But that's completely random.

As for what position he should play... Probably TE or something because he's huge.

But train up his physicals

You posted his physicals. Physicals are strength and speed.

If you really want to play him somewhere, I would start him at OL or TE. Tall+Dumb=OL in my book, unless his strength ends up capping low.
