I see the so called "Darkwing" formation has changed since the beginning of how it was. Suddenly the HBs are FBs. I agree with this decisions, but then you are not the inventor of it anymore

Sure I am...since I'm the one that made the change.

It's not like every version of The Wildcat is the same...but they still call it that despite small variations. It's still The Darkwing despite minor variations. If you want to run two WRs on the "bad" side instead of 1 WR and 1 TE...it'd still be The Darkwing. Not that I'd do that in important games.

I know of others that played that formation before you did, so no I totally agree with the philosophy of the "Darkwing" Formation, except that it had halfbacks...

Like I said...it's just one version of The Darkwing. The general idea and concept was still there. To go back to The Wildcat example...each team takes their own spin on it, but you still credit it to Miami (in the NFL) despite any changes made to it over time. The Darkwing is still mine whether you use 2 RBs, 2 FBs, 1 RB and 1 FB, 3 WRs instead of 2 WRs and 1 TE...whatever. Hell...you could use my exact formation, but it's not really The Darkwing if you spread the ball out or go to the other side of the ball or start running half the time, because it's a combination of strat and formation. The Wildcat isn't a weird formation...it's just different because of WHO is playing WHICH position. Even as something as basic as the I-Form, you have multiple variations of.

And, with that, I've spent way too much time writing about a topic that doesn't really matter.

Is the Darkwing a formation or just a highlight/exploit of the limitations of this game end?

Both. It's a class/type of formation that highlights/exploits the limitations.

IMO, its the concept of a single WR with high skills. Also, the porobability effect of this game engine. I am happy with giving credit to a so called inventor, however, the concept has also been percieved even by the most imature managers. I am not saying it is unintelligent , just noting the vulnerability og GI compared to the real thang!
I may be wrong but are you going to tell me or will the game engine!

I'm not sure if there was a question in there.

But I will say that for the first couple seasons, we attributed a lot of things to low skill levels instead of design flaws. We gave the admins the benefit of the doubt that things would be more balanced when skills were higher. Then there were many things that are common knowledge now that were kept loosely under wraps in the next few seasons. One of them being that you should only pass against humans. Quite a few people figured this out independently, but that information wasn't openly dispersed to every person starting the game like it is now. With that said, all my Darkwing stuff is a little bit tongue-in-cheek.

It's obvious to me now that an atom is made up of protons, neutrons, and electrons. But at one point, just the idea that there was an atom was a breakthrough.

Wait, are atoms real?

Sure, they can be made into bombs
